Agee's Bicycles: Your GoPro headquarters

Ever watch a YouTube video of a guy screaming down a mountainside or parachuting off a cliff in South America and ask yourself how they got that footage?  The GoPro Hero3 is a nearly indestructible waterproof camera capable of taking high definition, cinema quality video as well as incredibly crisp high resolution stills.  While most people have a digital camera or cell phone that can take decent video it can be a harrowing experience to try to use these around water, on your bike, or on a mountaintop. The Hero3 opens up limitless possibilities of going anywhere you go, doing anything you do, and capturing it all in amazing quality.  Here are some GoPro-friendly activity examples and related accessories:

This is the obvious one for us here at Agee’s.  We love bikes and bike videos.  There are a variety of great angles for filming your bike adventures.  The most common style we see for this is a helmet mount facing forwards.  However, there are some cool “bobble head” videos of a helmet mounted boom with the camera framing the riders face.  Additionally, there are handlebar, fork, and seat stay mounts, all of which give a great perspective to your ride.

Recommended Mounts:

This is one of the coolest uses for the GoPro.  Gone are the days of expensive dive housings.  Now you can go to the reef, river, or beach with your GoPro and capture everything above and below the surface.  The GoPro housing is rated for greater depth than the average sport diver (197’) and the new flat lens focuses just as well underwater as above.

Mounts we recommend: There are many custom mounts that consumers use for snorkeling and scuba diving but we’d highly recommend the Vented Helmet Mount for around-the-wrist action of your camera.
